For over a decade, the Harvard Club of Hong Kong has awarded the Book Prize to students for their academic and personal excellence. The club reaches out to all Hong Kong secondary schools, both local and international. They award a grand prize and up to two runner-up prizes to each school. In 2016, 191 secondary schools participated and 554 form-five students were awarded book prizes.

Alongside with HK Commerce Secretary John Tsang’s keynote and the attendance of HK Education Secretary, Eddie Ng, we curated speakers that included TED Fellow & Robotics Inventor, Cesar Jung-Herada, former Cirque du Soleil performer, Jesko von den Steinen, and Mobile Commerce VR/AR Pioneer Jason Chiu. After designing & preparing a expert panel, with an audience of close to 600 award recipients, we delved deep into topics such as:

What role does experience & failure have in the creative process?
What is the importance of building and leveraging teams in the creative industry?
What is the function of creativity in society?
